Tensi has been operating since 1983 as the first privately owned travel agency. In the beginning, the agency dealing with tennis and skiing lessons is now one of the most capital-strong and dynamically developing travel agencies in the Hungarian travel market, which offers a uniquely complex service package and a wide selection in all segments of tourism to its individual and group travelers as well as corporate clients.
1983: Tensi High School is founded, then Kiszövetkezet, which mainly focuses on tennis and skiing lessons.
It is registered as the first privately owned travel agency.
1989: Tensi Tours Kft. is founded.
1992: Launches charter flight to Cyprus for the first time in Hungary.
1993: this year brings Tensi IATA membership, which enables the full sale of flight tickets.
2002: a self-developed booking program enables faster and more efficient customer service.
2003.: Tensi Kft., one of the country's leading, full-service travel agencies, was founded this year with the aim of bringing together the wide range of tourism offered by the Tensi Group; distributes its services under the brand name TENSI HOLIDAY. The Tensi Holiday service package, which can be said to be uniquely complex in domestic tourism, is the result of a continuous product expansion that always keeps in mind the changing needs of passengers and adapts to them. The company, which primarily offers charter plane vacations in the summer season, exotic group and individual trips in the winter season, and a rich selection of cruises and city visits throughout the year, tries above all to satisfy the needs of vacation tourism with its widely known, high-quality outing programs.
In the same year, after a two-year reconstruction, the Tensi headquarters is transformed, which awaits those who want to travel in a beautified, spacious environment.
2004: the first to launch a charter flight from a rural town to Turkey.
2004-2005: Tensi's team expands with several rural offices. He wins the title "Champion of the Sea" both years. Currency exchange will be introduced as a new service in 2005. In the same year, the readers of Utazó magazine honored it with the title "the best travel agency".
