When to travel: the coastal regions generally have a Mediterranean climate. From north to south, the environment changes dramatically; the same is true moving from west to east - as you move inland from the coast, conditions become more extreme and altitude plays a role in the variable weather conditions. Spring and autumn are the perfect times to visit Morocco, as temperatures in most parts of the country are comfortable.

Program description:
Day 1: trip to Casablanca
Departure from Budapest at midday with a Paris stopover to Morocco. Arrival to legendary Casablanca in the late evening hours, transfer to the hotel.
Accommodation in Casablanca (1 night). (Due to late arrival, no dinner on this day, lunch will be provided the following day.)
Day 2: Casablanca, Rabat
Morning sightseeing in Casablanca, the White City, walking tour of the Medina and a visit to the impressive Hassan II Mosque. Lunch between activities. In the afternoon we travel to the nearby capital Rabat. During the sightseeing tour, we will visit the Royal Palace and the King's Mosque from the outside, the Hassan Mosque tower, the Oudaias kasbah, the Medina.
Dinner and accommodation in Rabat (1 night).
Day 3: Meknes, Volubilis
Morning trip to Meknes, that is also known as the “Moroccan Versailles”. The main attraction of the historic city of Meknes is the Bab El Mansour Gate, the most beautiful gate in Morocco. The charming Roman ruins of Volubilis are located in the vicinity of Meknes. Here you can stroll through the streets of the once magnificent city, see the intact mosaics and admire the views of the surrounding valleys. Continue to Fez, check in and have dinner.

Day 4: Fez.
We spend the whole day exploring Fez, where we time travel through the labyrinth of winding streets of the medieval medina, can also meet donkeys carrying loads. The vast Karaouine Mosque is only accessible to non-Muslim visitors through the open gates, but we will visit one of the madrasas, or Islamic schools, located around the mosque. Of course, you will also visit one of the many tanning workshops, where, despite the strong smell, you will be treated to an unusual sight. A visit to the Nejjarine fountain and a walk through the streets of the medina.
Day 5: Trip to Merzouga
After an early breakfast, we board the bus and continue our journey south towards the desert. The long drive takes us through varied landscapes, from lush green mountains slowly giving way to barren mountain scenery, through stunning canyons and palm groves to the town of Erfoud, built on the edge of the desert, where we will board jeeps to reach our desert accommodation near Merzouga.
Accommodation in a desert tented camp (1 night), from where we can admire a fantastic sunset in good weather.
Day 6: The sand dunes of Merzouga and the Todra Gorge
We wake up early to admire the sunrise on the desert dunes. After breakfast, we return to Erfoud by jeep, then board a bus and continue our journey to Ouarzazate. Palm groves, casbahs rising from the red mountains, Berber villages and the sight of local women dressed in colorful costumes accompany us on our way to the Todra Gorge, one of the most beautiful sights in southern Morocco, a cool valley hidden between steep cliffs.

Day 7: Ouarzazate, Marrakech
Visit to the Taourirt Casbah, one of the most beautiful in all Morocco, then on to Marrakech, the spectacular Ait Ben Haddou Fortress, that has been the setting for several film shoots. Continue on beautiful mountain roads over the Tizi n'Tichka Pass to the magnificent city of Marrakech. In the afternoon, stroll through the famous Djemaa El Fna square, where life goes on day and night, with stunt performers, snake charmers, monkey dancers, date vendors and orange juice stalls, and fantastic bazaars. After the walk, transfer to the hotel for dinner.

Day 8: Marrakech
In the morning, we continue our exploration of Marrakech, visiting the most important sights of the city: the Koutoubia Mosque, the Menara Gardens, the Bahia Palace, the Majorelle Gardens. Free time in the afternoon.
Day 9: travel to Budapest
Early transfer to the airport, departure from Paris with transfer to Budapest. Arrival in the night.
