Why Skopelos? Skopelos is one of the Sporades archipelago located in the western half of the Aegean Sea and is now known as the island of Mamma Mia all over the world! The 45 km long and 12 km wide island covers an area of 96 km2. It is a mountainous region, densely covered with pine trees, which stretch all the way to the coast and merge with the clear sea water. This is where Skopelos got the name "Green on the Blue". It has also won the European Blue Flag award, which confirms the fact that not only the greenest Greek island, but also the cleanest beaches in Europe are located here!
There are 365 churches on the island of Skopelos, in the front gardens of which couples who prefer a more classic wedding can hold a truly atmospheric, traditional Greek ceremony. On the other hand, those who want a truly "barefoot" ceremony have the opportunity to choose from more beautiful beaches.
