The CostaClub, which is an exclusive club for guests for whom the Costa cruise is their favorite vacation program, is now opening a new page: it welcomes those who are thinking of participating in a Costa cruise for the first time among its members.

Costa's frequent flyer program celebrated its 15th birthday in 2016 with a new look and new content to make you feel even more special! So that you feel at home as if you were on board one of the Costa ships... And when you are on board, you are the center of attention thanks to the many special privileges that only you are entitled to. The new CostaClub will reward you with a series of privileges throughout the year for your enthusiastic commitment to Costa, and the greater your commitment, the more valuable privileges you will be entitled to.

Among the many exciting novelties, the creation of a new, more special and exclusive club than ever before is perhaps the most exciting. The name of this new club: Perla Diamante (Diamond Pearl Club); its members possess truly special and extraordinary privileges. Also new is the Club Ambra (Amber Club), whose members are guests who have not sailed with Costa yet! CostaClub now has no less than six membership levels.
What's also new is that there are even more opportunities to collect points and thereby obtain additional benefits, on top of those that CostaClub members already enjoyed.
This is what the new CostaClub is all about: a world specifically for you, where you and your fellow CostaClub members can enjoy the unique excitement of Costa cruises.
The new CostaClub rules came into effect on January 31, 2016.

The new face of CostaClub

The image of the new CostaClub is also new: the image of a ship's wake, with water drops of the sea subtly and elegantly playing with each other. Which symbolizes what CostaClub and its many members like you mean to Costa: something as natural, essential and precious as the sea. This value and importance is also hinted at by the club symbols shaped like real jewels, which bear their Italian names to emphasize the close relationship between Costa and CostaClub.

Six clubs already
With the addition of Club Ambra and Club Perla Diamanté, the number of clubs has increased to six.

The more points you earn, the faster you advance to the next level.
Just like before, 100 points will be awarded for each boat day. The change, however, is that extra points can be earned after the days, namely in a specific amount depending on the type of cabin booked: So, the basic 100 points for an interior cabin, but 150 points for a cabin with a window, and 175 points for a cabin with a balcony.
In the case of our guests booking a premium cabin, the points are still doubled, i.e. they will receive 200 points for an interior cabin, 300 points for a cabin with a window, 350 points for a cabin with a balcony, and guests using a suite will collect approximately 450 points per day. We also give you points for the flight, up to a maximum of 500 points.
And that's not all. Points earned for on-board purchases are also doubled, meaning 2 points for every euro spent on purchases, including purchases made on the www.costacruises.com website prior to departure, as well as on-board purchases at discounted prices. However, as in previous practice, the price of cruise tickets does not entitle you to membership points.

Valid for three years

In the new CostaClub, the points you collect will remain valid for a certain period of time: each year the points collected in the previous three years will be valid. This rule applies to all CostaClub levels, from Acquamarina Club to Perla Diamante Club.

At the start of 2016, when the new CostaClub came into force, all points for the last three years (valid for the club according to your membership level) will be recalculated according to the new rules. This means you may earn points immediately, even for cruises you took between 2013 and 2015. There will be many of you who will be transferred to a higher level club this way. If someone were to transfer to a lower-level club with their new total score, we guarantee that they can stay at their current club for six months, as long as they take a cruise with us during that six-month period. In this way, you can enjoy the new privileges of your current club until June 2016, and during this time, thanks to the new rules, you can collect many, many new points.

Here are just a few of the benefits that members of the most exclusive club can enjoy.

During their cruise, members of the Perla Diamante club have free access to the Club restaurant, not only for dinners, but also for lunches and breakfasts.
A member of the staff is at their disposal to book excursions, spa and restaurant places, as well as other services for them without charging a special fee. No more queuing on board! Just a phone call away, and help is already there to fulfill your special reservations!
The so-called Beneficiaries of 'SuperUpgrade': if they participate in one more trip than the previous year: they can already travel in the best available cabin category, which can even be a suite, if they book an internal cabin!
At evening theater shows and performances, the first rows of the theater's auditorium are reserved for them. Guests can dine in peace and comfort, knowing that the best seats in the theater are reserved for them.
They can personally assemble the contents of the minibar in their cabin, so that their favorites are sure to be found there.
Immediate boarding: members of the Perla Diamante club can be the first to board the ship.
A one-day spa ticket for complete relaxation and wellness (without treatments and services).
They can also book special excursions for small groups with a limited number of people.
